Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and organized Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: - Drive company vehicles on assigned routes to deliver products to customers - Organize and load products onto the delivery vehicle - Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns - Sell additional products or services to customers during delivery stops - Settle payments with customers and maintain accurate records of transactions - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day - Strong organizational skills to effectively plan routes and manage time - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating prices - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Military experience is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
